This is my first art series. It is called A Place Inside, and shows people opening a hole in their chest to show what’s inside them.
The 5 pieces are approximately 18” x 24 “ with custom frames featuring friends. They have 3 layers at different depths. You can easily swap out inner worlds (background layers) based on how you feel.
Custom LED lighting is done in between each layer, and controlled with a custom app. One of the pieces used a motion detector to glow when someone approached it.
